Urban gardens are solutions to food deserts in underserved and often forgotten communities. On August 11th , National Hip Hop Day, Amazon in partnership with Trap Garden and the Nashville Food Project is proud to present the first annual Hip Hop Horary – Community Garden Project.

We’re thrilled the city’s most popular female DJ, Crop Top, will spin the hottest hip hop hits while volunteers help restore the gardens at the McGruder Family Resource Center in North Nashville. Following the service project event, volunteers will enjoy a delicious meal provided by Nashville’s own, Slim & Husky's Pizza Beeria, a fast casual, artisan pizza shop with a love for hip hop & R&B culture.
